Two years ago, on a cold January morning, everything would change.
Dr. Tom Arnold—Dickinson’s own experienced, compassionate OB-GYN—was stepping away from hospital practice and asking if he could bring his expertise to Connect.
Our answer was immediate: Yes, of course!
But that simple yes came with big questions:
- Where would we put him?
- Could the clinic handle the growing demand for holistic, dignity-centered care?
- And most of all—how would we pay for it without compromising the personalized care our community counts on?
That moment sparked what has become the Sustain Growth Campaign—a capital effort to expand space, strengthen our care team, and meet the demand for holistic medical services here in Dickinson and across western North Dakota.
⏩Fast forward to today: We’ve now raised over $1 million.
Thanks to generous donors, board members, ambassadors, and friends, the clinic has transformed—inside and out. Just look at what’s happened since that first spark:
- We leased and renovated the neighboring flower shop, tripling our clinic space.
- We closed for 12 weeks during construction—and came back stronger.
- Dr. Arnold began seeing patients in early 2024, launching new services for restorative women’s health and fertility care.
- We redefined our mission and stepped fully into our identity as a Holistic Medical Clinic.
- And now, one-third of the new clinic spaces have been named by donor sponsorships.
So… what’s next?
We’re inviting you—the community we serve and love—to help us finish strong.
We are entering the final phase of the Sustain Growth Campaign, and we need to raise $345,000 through five-year pledges to complete our vision.
These final funds will:
- Hire the additional medical staff we need
- Complete our national accreditation process
- Expand Connect Cares, our innovative support program for patients navigating real-life challenges
- And ensure that no patient is turned away due to capacity or cost
- This campaign has always been about people.
“Growth” can be a vague term, but in this context, we’re talking about real stories of healing. People who walk through our doors every day—some full of hope, some clinging to it by a thread. And because of your generosity, they’re met with care that affirms their worth and nurtures healing.
