Ten Years of Open Doors

“I was pregnant and new to the country.”
That’s how her story with Connect began. And her story is filled with hope and promise because another story had begun on November 5, 2015—the Connect Medical story, beginning with an open door to the public for the first time that day.
Every day since, those doors have remained open because of you, the Connect Medical community of support.
Through your generosity, countless women and families have walked through these doors and found connection, dignity, and hope.
This woman remembers those early days vividly:
“I was pregnant and new to the country. I needed support and knowledge to take care of my baby without family help.”
Today, she and her family are thriving and remain deeply connected to the mission that met them with compassion when they needed it most. She and her husband have built a home in Dickinson, where they’re raising their children, contributing to the community, and investing in the lives of others.
“I’ve been in the USA for ten years,” she told our team, “and all ten years my life was connected with you.”
Her story represents hundreds more, each one a testament to the power of an open door when it mattered most.
We’re reminded of the words of Jesus in John 10:
“I am the door; whoever enters through Me will be saved… I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
Every open door in this clinic is a reflection of that promise, welcoming people into safety, healing, and hope. When dignity is protected, families flourish, communities grow stronger, and abundant life is restored, reminding every person of their worth in God’s eyes.
