September is more than back-to-school and pumpkin spice. It’s also a month painted in teal—a color that reminds us to pay attention to women’s health, especially gynecologic and ovarian cancers.
And here’s the truth: ovarian cancer is sneaky. Symptoms like bloating, fatigue, or changes in your menstrual cycle can be dismissed as “normal.” But your body is wise—it whispers when something’s off. At Connect, we believe those whispers are worth listening to.
September brings renewed focus on gynecologic cancers—from cervical to ovarian, uterine to vulvar—as part of the national Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month, with special attention on the deadliest yet most overlooked: ovarian cancer. In 2025, an estimated 110,850 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed, and about 32,680 will die from these cancers.
Ovarian cancer alone is the fifth leading cause of cancer death in women and causes more fatalities than any other gynecologic cancer.
Yes, the statistics are sobering. But that’s not the whole story. Awareness is powerful. Catching symptoms early, asking questions, and finding care you trust can change everything. That’s where we come in.

A Spark of Hope
September isn’t about teal ribbons alone—it’s about women realizing they’re not alone, that answers are out there, and that care can feel both professional and personal.
At Connect, we promise more than awareness. We promise connection. We promise compassion. And most of all, we promise hope.
Because your health, your heart, and your story matter—and we’re here to honor them.
