This month also shines a light on an issue far too many families face silently: domestic violence.
Domestic Violence Awareness Month calls us to recognize the pain of those living in fear within their own homes, and to commit ourselves to building a world where safety, respect, and restoration are possible.
At Connect Medical Clinic, we believe that to respect life is also to protect life. Every person deserves to be safe, seen, and cherished. No one should ever have to question their worth or live in fear of the people closest to them.
That’s why Connect partners with the Domestic Violence & Rape Crisis Center (DVRCC) in Dickinson. Together, we provide wraparound care for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. DVRCC offers shelter, advocacy, and emergency services; Connect provides holistic medical care, education, and relational support.
This partnership reflects what Respect Life Month is all about: honoring the whole person and standing together to nurture dignity in the face of harm.
