Studies suggest untreated Chlamydia has the potential to decrease fertility by means of impairing sperm fertilization capacity and obstructive damage due to chronic inflammation, and according to the CDC, Gonorrhea and Syphilis are on the rise in men. Sexually active men should be screened for STIs annually or with any new sexual partner.
